The reason the folks on our post production team look a lot like our production team is because they are all the same person. Semicolon Pictures founder Vincent Liota has spent decades honing the crafts of editing, animating and visual effects.
Editor
Vincent cut his cutting chops in 16mm film, and soon moved to the high-pressure environment of video broadcast news editing, where he landed a staff editor role at ABC News, contributing to flagship shows like World News Tonight, Nightline and 20/20. He began working on non-linear systems nearly 25 years ago, first on Lightworks and then Avid, on which he has been editing for over 2 decades. Vincent is also proficient in Adobe Premier and mixes his films’ audio in Adobe Audition.
DESIGNER-ANIMATOR
With 25 years of experience on AfterEffects and Photoshop, Vincent excels in both hand-drawn character animation and digital motion graphics. Trained at New York's Art Students League and Pratt Institute, he's received an Emmy nomination for his work on Nova scienceNOW and recently designed a virtual set for the World Science Festival. After parting ways with Semicolon Pictures, Vincent went off on his own to found 2K-12 Studios.
